Model Engineer (its most recent title) is a still in publication British modeling magazine. It was first published as a monthly in January 1898, became a bi-monthly in January 1901, and (after dropping the word "Amateur") became a weekly in January 1903. These issues are all from before the Great War, and include numerous locomotive modeling articles, as well as some very early examples of O-scale model railroads.
